Part of the next biathlon generation
Niklas Hartweg lives in Lenzerheide and is one of Switzerland’s greatest biathlon hopes. At the age of 18, he was the first Swiss biathlete to become Youth World Champion. After switching to the junior category, he continued to clean up. The versatile athlete secured three Crystal Globes in the IBU Junior Cup series and took the bronze medal at the European Junior Championships. Due to these strong performances, he debuted in the World Cup in the 2020/2021 season and was allowed to participate in the World Championships on the Slovenian plateau Pokljuka. His big goal is the home World Cup 2025.
