NHL Superstar Sidney Crosby joins NORQAIN as a shareholder and a business partner
NORQAIN, the independent and family-owned Swiss watch company, is proud to welcome ice hockey legend Sidney Crosby as a NORQAIN shareholder and business partner.
NORQAIN’s deep-rooted connection to ice hockey began with Swiss legend Mark Streit – former national team captain and one of the most successful Swiss players in National Hockey League (NHL) history. As a NORQAIN co-founder, Mark shares a special bond with Sidney Crosby. The two were teammates on the Pittsburgh Penguins and won the Stanley Cup together in 2017.

Widely regarded as one of the greatest hockey players in NHL history, Crosby is a three-time Stanley Cup champion and a two-time Olympic Champion, solidifying his status as a record-breaking leader. He was the youngest player to record 100 points in an NHL season and remains the youngest captain ever to win the Stanley Cup. In just his second NHL season, Crosby became the youngest player – and the only teenager in North American professional sports, to win a scoring title.
A natural-born leader, Crosby guided the Pittsburgh Penguins to back-to-back championships in 2016 and 2017 and has earned the NHL’s most prestigious awards, including the Hart Memorial Trophy, the Maurice Richard Trophy, and two Conn Smythe Trophies.
On the international stage, he secured Olympic gold for Canada in 2010 with his iconic game-winning goal and captained the team to victory again in 2014. In 2017, he was named one of the 100 Greatest NHL Players, and in 2022, he was awarded the Order of Canada, one of the country’s highest honours.

At 37, Sidney Crosby is in his 20th season with the Penguins and has scored over 600 goals. He is one of only 21 players in NHL history to reach this milestone, and just the second to do so for the Pittsburgh Penguins.
