International World Cleanup Day, held on September 20, brings together millions of volunteers from 95% of UN-listed countries. Since its inception in 2008, this event has received overwhelming global support, with over 91 million dedicated volunteers participating in the past six years alone. As of 2024, World Cleanup Day on September 20th is officially part of the UN calendar, further cementing its role as the world's largest peacetime civic action movement dedicated to a sustainable future.
