100% Mechanical Watches & In-House Design
Leveraging our extensive expertise in mechanical watchmaking, we ensure each second is measured with absolute precision. As one of the select Swiss watch brands exclusively producing mechanical watches, we take pride in the meticulous hand assembly of every timepiece by our skilled watchmakers at our production site in Tavannes located in the Bernese Jura. At NORQAIN, we emphasise durability, uniqueness, and a sporty look in our in-house designed watches, ensuring they are ready for sports challenges and adventurous spirits.
Innovation
Supported by watch industry legend and NORQAIN’s advisor to the board, Jean-Claude Biver, we aim to innovate, challenge the status-quo and spread our passion for mechanical watches in the age of digitalisation and smartwatches. Our mission is to support the movement of putting Swiss-made watches on the wrists of the young, young-at-heart and open-minded.
Best example: The Wild ONE collection, launched in 2022, is the epitome of high-performance sports watches, boasting a shock-absorbing case crafted from our exclusive NORTEQ® material. This carbon fibre polymer is not only six times lighter than steel but also 3.5 times lighter than titanium, offering superior durability and lightweight comfort for the active wearer.
Next-Level Independence
In February 2020, we proudly announced an exciting long-term partnership with esteemed movement manufacturer Kenissi. This collaboration marked a milestone in NORQAIN’s journey and led to the development of two exclusive Manufacture calibres: the NN20/1 three-hand movement and the NN20/2 GMT. Both movements combine proven robustness with outstanding performance and precision, featuring an impressive 70-hour power reserve.
Building on this foundation, in 2024, we introduced the 8K Manufacture Calibre (NK24/1), developed in collaboration with Manufacture AMT. Inspired by the world’s highest peaks—the legendary “Eight-Thousanders”—this skeletonised flyback chronograph embodies technical excellence and adventurous spirit. It features a flyback function that allows the timing to be reset and restarted with a single press of a button, along with a 62-hour power reserve.
All three NORQAIN Manufacture calibres are chronometer certified, underscoring their exceptional precision and quality.
