Norqain Returns to the Ice as Spengler Cup Official Timekeeper

A new COSC-certified limited edition NORQAIN timepiece highlights the independent brand’s partnership with the international ice hockey tournament.

The Spengler Cup Davos returns this year with high-calibre teams ready to dominate the world’s oldest invitational ice hockey tournament. As a brand with strong ties to the dynamic sport, NORQAIN is ready to contribute its certified precision as Official Timekeeper for the second time since 2019. To mark its involvement in the annual international tournament, NORQAIN has launched the Adventure NEVEREST Spengler Cup Edition – limited to only 94 pieces in honour of the 94th edition of the event.

The independent, family-owned watchmaker’s support of ice hockey, which includes a partnership with the NHL Players’ Association, is strengthened with its Official Partner title of the Spengler Cup Davos. As a former HC Davos player, NORQAIN board member, shareholder and Swiss ice hockey legend Mark Streit, is particularly enthusiastic about the brand’s partnership with the tournament.

NORQAIN Co-Founder and Board Member Mark Streit says: “All of us missed the Spengler Cup when it was cancelled last year and we can’t wait to witness the emotional and exhilarating moments that this edition will bring. To be involved in such an important tournament that takes place in our own home country of Switzerland is an honour. We look forward to supporting the teams as the Official Timekeeper and promoting elite ice hockey as an official partner”.

NORQAIN Adventure NEVEREST Spengler Cup Edition

The limited edition stainless steel timepiece is distinguished by its white “scratched ice” dial with the Spengler Cup Davos logo at 9 o’clock. The three-hand model has a black ceramic bezel and is presented on the wearer’s choice of a sporty black rubber strap CHF 3’190.- or a stainless steel bracelet 3’390.-. The Spengler Cup Davos logo can be found on the sapphire glass caseback protecting the Manufacture Calibre NN20/1 inside. The COSC-certified automatic winding movement is distinguished by its extreme robustness and impressive 70-hour weekend-proof power reserve. The sturdy construction features a traversing bridge with two-point fixation that ensures the timekeeping performance is not hindered by powerful activity. With every purchase of this watch, customers receive a VIP invitation to the Spengler Cup where they can enjoy the game with NORQAIN board member Mark Streit.

Of the 94 pieces, 11 will be awarded to the players who clock the most time on the ice per game throughout the tournament. Spectators enjoying the thrill of the game at home have the chance to win a NORQAIN timepiece by participating in the SRF contest during every televised match-up. NORQAIN advertisements will also be shown on TV during the games, underscoring the brand’s support of the Spengler Cup Davos.
