Sweet treats: NORQAIN serves up summer with the Freedom Chrono Enjoy Life “Sprinkles"

Geneva, Switzerland, 14 April 2026 Summer vibes at NORQAIN during Watches and Wonders Geneva 2026 as the family-owned independent Swiss watchmaker continues its playful “Enjoy Life” series of watches, which debuted last year with the “Ice Cream” edition, a runaway success that became one of the watches of the year.

NORQAIN is delighted to introduce the Freedom Chrono Enjoy Life “Sprinkles”, a vibrant new chapter in the collection. Featuring a dial inspired by colorful sprinkles, the watch captures the brand’s signature warmth and optimism. More than a playful design element, the sprinkles symbolize the importance of finding joy even in challenging times. Like the small topping that makes an ice cream special, these bright accents are designed to bring a smile to the wearer’s face and serve as a reminder that life is meant to be enjoyed.

The Freedom Chrono Enjoy Life “Sprinkles” is based on NORQAIN’s sporty, free-spirited Freedom 60 Chrono. The 40mm stainless steel watch comes with a choice of two dials in either “Strawberry” or “Blue Raspberry”. Both feature matt dials decorated artistically, inspired by the timeless colourful soft ice cream topping. These are finished in Super-LumiNova® so they glow blue in the dark. Continuing the whimsical summer theme, once every seven days the date window between 4 and 5 o’clock is filled with a soft ice cream covered in sprinkles. This cheerful motif serves as a weekly reminder to "Enjoy Life".

The Freedom Chrono Enjoy Life “Sprinkles” features a 40mm case in 316L stainless steel and is available either on a stainless steel bracelet or on a white rubber strap decorated with additional sprinkles that glow in the dark, with a choice of folding clasp or pin buckle. It’s equipped with a double anti-reflective, scratch-proof, box-type sapphire glass on top and a flat sapphire glass on the case back that’s printed with the words “Enjoy Life” and special edition markings. Its chronograph function is operated via stainless steel vintage pump pushers at 2 and 4 o’clock.

The watch’s mechanical movement is NORQAIN Calibre N19, an automatic chronograph finished with a bespoke NORQAIN oscillating weight. This delivers an impressive 62-hour power reserve and gives the watch its tri-compax dial layout, with a 30-minute chronograph counter at 3 o’clock, a 12-hour chronograph counter at 6 o’clock and small seconds at 9 o’clock. Chronograph seconds are measured by a sweeping central seconds hand. A tachymeter scale around the dial’s outer edge for calculating speed over a known distance adds functionality, balance and sportiness.

Further quality signifiers include a screw-down crown engraved with the NORQAIN logo, ensuring water resistance to 100 metres; diamond-cut, rhodium-plated hands and hour markers; and Super-LumiNova® inserts in the hour and minute hands and hour markers for enhanced low-light legibility.

The watch also features a NORQAIN plate on the left case flank, a company signature that can be personalised with an engraving according to a client’s wishes. 

The Freedom Chrono Enjoy Life “Sprinkles” is the second in NORQAIN’s celebrated “Enjoy Life” series of watches and follows last summer’s debut piece, which featured a dial split into blue, pink and pistachio thirds, as well as an ice cream date indication. 

The playful spirit that defines the Freedom Chrono Enjoy Life “Sprinkles” will also inspire NORQAIN’s booth at Watches and Wonders Geneva 2026. Visitors to the stand will be offered a soft ice cream with sprinkles as they pass through. 

Through the spring and into summer, NORQAIN will build this concept into a busy international event schedule. The company will treat its guests to soft ice cream with sprinkles at events throughout the year, spreading the fun, warmth, positivity and optimism around the world.
