Spengler Cup Davos: Norqain – New Official Timekeeper

As Official Timekeeper of the Spengler Cup, Norqain underlines the close connection between ice hockey and Switzerland. Norqain is an independent, athletic and dynamic Swiss company, which produces mechanical automatic watches with a strong design and a striking uniqueness exclusively manufactured in Switzerland. Each watch is handcrafted with unconditional attention to detail by watchmakers. Norqain – like the Spengler Cup – thrives on emotions. Experiences that shape life can be captured on the left-hand side of all timepieces.

Starting this year, Norqain and the Spengler Cup will embark on a joint journey, including timekeeping in the stadium, the SRF spectators’ competition, branding on the boards and honoring the player with the “Most time on Ice”. “As an independent Swiss family business, Norqain is proud to be a part of the Spengler Cup. We look forward to many years of cooperation”, says CEO Ben Küffer. At the same time, this partnership has a very special emotional significance for Mark Streit, Norqain board member and former Hockey Club Davos player.

About Norqain

Founded in 2018, NORQAIN is a fully independent, family-owned Swiss watch company located in Nidau (Bienne) in the heart of the Swiss watch industry. Driven by the excitement that comes with exploring the road less travelled, NORQAIN has three collections – Adventure, Freedom and Independence – that are exclusively equipped with mechanical automatic movements. In 2020, it introduced two Manufacture Calibres produced in collaboration with movement manufacturer, Kenissi. NORQAIN is a proud partner of the National Hockey League Players’ Association (NHLPA) and the Official Timekeeper of the Spengler Cup Davos. In July 2020, the brand organised its second NORQAINER Challenge together with On.
