Filippo Magnini

Four-times world champion, 17-times European champion in swimming and one of Italy’s most successful and illustrious athletes

When we launched the Wild ONE Skeleton in 2023, we also announced Filippo as the face of the campaign and the newest addition to the NORQAINER family. With his dedication to his passion and success in the water, Filippo is a natural fit for NORQAIN and these particular timepieces.

Filippo is an Italian swimmer specialized in free-style, four-time world champion and winner of a total of 17 European golds. Born in Pesaro, Italy, Filippo represented his country at four editions of the Olympic Games, claiming a bronze medal in the 4x200 freestyle relay in 2004 in Athens.

The swimmer retired in 2017 but remains involved in the sport as a competitor in Master events where he more recently set an Italian record in the 50m freestyle and was just two-tenths of a second away from the 50m breaststroke world record.
